You Can't Fix What You Won't Measure
“We think we're doing okay.”
That sentence always makes me want to ask:
How do you know?
Good leaders have instincts.
But healthy organizations pair instincts with information.
How is enrollment trending?
What percentage of tuition is actually being collected?
Are payroll costs increasing faster than revenue?
How much cash do you have available?
How are you performing against budget?
You don't need 47 KPIs and a complicated dashboard.
You need a handful of meaningful numbers that tell you whether the school is getting healthier.
Because once you can see the problem clearly, you can begin making decisions about it.
