How do you eat a cow?
One steak at a time. 😊
That's become a saying around our office when something feels completely overwhelming.
And honestly, school leadership can feel that way too.
Enrollment. Staffing. Tuition. Budgets. Parents. Payroll. Facilities.
When everything needs attention, it's easy to become so overwhelmed by the whole cow that you don't know which steak to eat first.
You don't have to solve everything today.
Ask yourself:
What is the next thing I can do that will have the greatest impact?
Do that.
Then find the next thing.
Matthew 6:34 reminds us, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
Sometimes good stewardship simply means faithfully handling what's in front of us today.
