Hope Is Not A Funding Strategy

I asked a school leader about their fundraising plan.

“We usually just see what comes in.”

Sometimes it worked.

But there was no structure.

No goals.

No consistency.

Which meant uncertainty every year.

When fundraising is unplanned, it’s unpredictable.

And if it’s unpredictable, it can’t support your school.

Hope is powerful – but it’s not a financial strategy.

Something to think about:

How much of your school’s funding is is planned… and how much is hoped for?
